Heidi Lind
I have been involved in triathlon since 2003, focusing mostly on short distance races. I competed in my first Half Ironman in 2009 and plan to continue racing at that distance at least once a season. I am married and have 2 kids, Kyle (age 10) and Callie (age 8). My kids are quite into sports and I'm currently coaching my son's select soccer team and helping my daughter train for her first 5K race this Spring.

Dana Pedersen
Dana came to triathlon a few years ago after a friend coerced her to participate in Danskin. She has a non-athletic background and but has found Triathlon to be an excellent way for her to stay active and healthy while dealing with challenges of an autoimmune disease. When not training for triathlons, she also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends. Dana's favorite races include the 12k's of Kirkland and the Beaver Lake Triathlon. In the last couple of years, she has completed in multiple sprints, and 1 olympic tri. Dana's favorite piece of Triathlon equipment is her Garmin because it tells her how much further until the finish line and celebratory meal. Her goals for 2010 are to complete 4 olympic tris and run an half marathon in under 2 hours.
Matt Sheeks
Endurance sports junkie Matt Sheeks grew up in the bicycle racing world, riding the road and track in high school. He transitioned to distance running in college, and ran under Coach Rob Conner at the University of Portland. The Portland Pilots were 9th in the 2005 Division 1 National-Cross Country Championships when Matt was on the varsity team. His PRs on the track are 3:50 for 1500m, 14:04 for 5000m, and 29:14 for 10000m.

His interests besides triathlon include Jesus Christ, cross country skiing, and ice cream. In typical Northwest style, Matt has become a gourmet coffee and craft beer snob.
